By accessing our website or downloading, installing, or using any Circuit & Moss Labs mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Circuit & Moss Labs grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access our web services, install copies of our mobile applications, and download, generate, and set wallpapers or configure default system preferences for personal, non-commercial utility use on your personal devices. Commercial reproduction, reverse-engineering, decompilation, resale, or mass redistribution of software assets or procedural presets is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

Depending on the application you use:

• Speaker Cleaning & Health Checks (Ripple): Ripple plays generated low-frequency tones that can help move water and dust out of a phone’s speaker grille. Results vary by device and by how much liquid or debris is present; Ripple does not repair hardware, make a device water-resistant, or replace professional service, and Circuit & Moss Labs is not liable for existing or resulting speaker, earpiece or water damage. Speaker health scores and the sound meter are measured with the device’s own microphone and are approximate guides, not laboratory measurements. Cleaning tones are loud and low by design: keep the phone away from your ears while they play, and disconnect headphones (Ripple stops automatically if they connect). Use the app as directed, with the built-in rests between runs. Ripple Pro is a one-time, non-subscription purchase billed through the App Store or Google Play and can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account.
• Privacy & Permission Auditing (Permissify): For Permissify, findings such as risky-combination flags, forgotten apps and detected tracker SDKs are informational and based on the permissions Android reports and on matching app code against a built-in list. Detection can miss SDKs that developers have renamed or obfuscated, and the presence of an SDK in an app’s code does not prove it is active. Permissify cannot change other apps’ permissions itself; it opens the relevant Android settings screen, and any change you make there is your decision. Circuit & Moss Labs is not liable for actions taken on the basis of Permissify’s findings. Permissify Pro is a one-time, non-subscription purchase billed through Google Play and can be restored on any device signed in to the same Google account.
• Mindful Screen Time, Budgets & Promises (Kiri): For Kiri, daily sand budgets, talisman overlays, and self-enforced promises (such as Steadfast mode and Rest Hours) serve as personal mindfulness tools. Circuit & Moss Labs is not liable for device-specific battery-saver overrides, OEM background task kills (e.g., Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus battery optimizations), or user-configured rule restrictions. Premium upgrades (Kiri Pro, the Ember pack and the Collection bundle) are one-time, non-subscription purchases billed through Google Play, and can be restored on any device signed in to the same Google account.
• Android Default App Management & OEM Resolver (Defaultify): For Defaultify, the application acts as an on-device inspector, shortcut launcher, and diagnostic utility for native Android default app settings and intent filters. Circuit & Moss Labs does not alter system firmware and is not liable for device manufacturer (OEM) restrictions (such as Samsung One UI, Xiaomi HyperOS, or ColorOS) or operating system updates that alter or restrict how default applications persist. Users remain solely responsible for ensuring that third-party applications assigned as default handlers are safe, trusted, and secure.
• Deep Link & URI Scheme Testing: The deep link tester executes local Android intent checks to determine candidate applications for user-provided URLs or custom URI schemes. Circuit & Moss Labs does not endorse, control, or assume liability for external websites, malicious links, or third-party apps triggered through intent testing.
• Alarm & Audio Scheduling: For applications relying on background scheduling and alarms (e.g., Wake Up Smart Alarm), users are responsible for maintaining device battery charge, system volume levels, and granting necessary exact alarm, full-screen notification, and motion permissions. Circuit & Moss Labs is not liable for missed alarms caused by OS battery-saver restrictions or hardware override settings.
• Generative Canvas, Daily Drops & Spoken Essays: For creative media and artwork applications (e.g., Morrow), daily curated drops, spoken curatorial essays, and procedural shader rendering are delivered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
