These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding legal agreement between you and Circuit & Moss Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of our official website (circuitandmosslabs.com) and all mobile applications developed and published under our developer accounts (including Wake Up Smart Alarm, Morrow — Daily Generative Wallpapers, and future software releases).
Acceptance & License Grant
By accessing our website or downloading, installing, or using any Circuit & Moss Labs mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Circuit & Moss Labs grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access our web services, install copies of our mobile applications, and download, generate, and set wallpapers for personal, non-commercial use on your personal devices. Commercial reproduction, resale, or mass redistribution of generated artwork assets or procedural presets is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
Subscriptions, Purchases & In-App Virtual Economy
Mobile applications may offer optional premium subscriptions, lifetime unlock passes, or virtual coin rewards:
- Billing & Store Processing: All in-app subscriptions and purchases are billed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
- Management & Cancellations: Manage or cancel subscriptions directly in your Apple ID or Google Play Store account settings.
- Virtual Coin Economy: Any virtual coins or credits earned in-app (such as daily check-in streak rewards or rewarded ad bonuses) are non-transferable, have no real-world monetary value, and can solely be redeemed for digital in-app features (such as individual wallpaper exports or preset unlocks).
Application Operation & Digital Content Availability
Depending on the application you use:
- Alarm & Audio Scheduling: For applications relying on background scheduling and alarms (e.g., Wake Up Smart Alarm), users are responsible for maintaining device battery charge, system volume levels, and granting necessary exact alarm, full-screen notification, and motion permissions. Circuit & Moss Labs is not liable for missed alarms caused by OS battery-saver restrictions or hardware override settings.
- Generative Canvas, Daily Drops & Spoken Essays: For creative media and artwork applications (e.g., Morrow), daily curated drops, spoken curatorial essays, and procedural shader rendering are delivered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
Intellectual Property Rights
All website content, application source code, original ringtones, procedural shader engines, soundscapes, curated daily drops, graphics, puzzle mission designs, and trademarks are the exclusive property of Circuit & Moss Labs.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CIRCUIT & MOSS LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
